Privacy Policy for Seaside Studio

Seaside Studio is published by JC Sense (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy explains how the Android game, package com.seasidestudio.game, handles information.

Information handled by the app

The game stores completed puzzles, restoration progress, the current puzzle and jug contents, pour count, colour-symbol preference, ratings, and save timestamps in private app storage. Hints are calculated on your device. You can play without connecting to Google Play Games.

Google Play Games cloud saves

When you connect with Google Play Games, the game sends the saved game information described above to Google’s Saved Games service so it can restore and synchronise your progress across Android devices. The game uses your Play Games player identifier to keep different players’ saves separate. It does not request your Google password or email address, friends list, photos, or documents.

Google’s SDK also processes gamer identity and collects analytics and diagnostic information for its service and SDK improvements. See Google’s Play Games data disclosure and Google’s Privacy Policy.

Advertising

Starting with Android version 0.7.8, Seaside Studio uses Google AdMob for a footer banner and optional rewarded ads. In current versions, each earned rewarded-ad reward adds three hint credits saved on the device; using a hint spends one credit. Hint credits are not included in cloud saves. Closing an ad before earning its reward gives no credits. Earlier ad-supported versions earned one hint per reward; versions before 0.7.8 do not contain ads.

Google’s Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares IP addresses (which may indicate approximate location), app and ad interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers including the Android advertising ID, for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. This information is encrypted in transit. The game does not request precise location. See Google’s advertising SDK data disclosure and Google’s Privacy Policy.

Where required, Google’s User Messaging Platform presents consent choices before ads are requested. You can revisit applicable choices through Settings → Advertising privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings. Declining personalised advertising does not necessarily remove all ads. If ads are unavailable, you can continue playing using undo and restart.

Retention and deletion

Local progress remains until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall it. To remove Google-held game data, use your Play Games profile’s data-deletion controls and select Seaside Studio. See Google’s deletion instructions. We cannot remotely erase the private storage on your device.

Children’s privacy and changes

The game does not ask players for their age or provide chat. Google’s account eligibility and parental controls apply to Play Games. We may update this policy when the game’s information practices or legal obligations change; the current version will remain available at this URL.
